Join Dave Pollock, Frontera Audubon volunteer, birder, and amateur photographer for a recap of his bird sightings in the Rio Grande Valley this year.
This $20 fundraiser is a sit-down lunch served up by Frontera Audubon volunteers to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and starts at noon on March 17.
They’ll have corned beef sandwiches and cabbage, potato salad, and a special dessert treat made by the Fabulous Frontera Bakers … all presented in the Visitors’ Center Meeting Room while watching a show of Pollock’s specialty birds which includes some rare sightings.
Frontera Audubon is a natural urban jewel tucked in Weslaco. The 15 acre site offers opportunities for birders, butterfliers and all those interested in the wonders of nature and biodiversity.
Support Frontera Audubon’s Bird Seed Fund by registering early and coming to this special little fundraiser. After lunch, Pollock will lead a bird walk through the Thicket. Frontera Audubon is located at 1101 S. Texas Blvd in Weslaco.
