Valley Freedom Newspapers

The Gorgas Science Foundation will have an exhibition featuring the story of the Mexican Revolution depicted in songs, stories, images and artifacts of the 20th Century at 7 p.m. today at the Alonzo Building at 510 E. St. Charles St.

Viewing hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit will run through November.

This is part of a series of programs and exhibits that the Brownsville Historical Association, Gorgas Science Foundation and Galeria 409 jointly present through November.

Humanities Texas and the Texas Commission on the Arts are sponsoring the programs.

Next up is an exhibit at Galeria 409, at 409 E. 13th St., that opens Saturday and features the work of local artists.

BHA's newest acquisition, the 1908 touring sedan once belonging to Mexican President Porfirio Diaz, also will be on display at the Alonzo Building.
